Once EDGE delivers to the page, it remains active and continues to refresh at 30 second intervals. If multiple sticky ads are rotating in the same ad slot, ad layering may occur.
To prevent this, the EDGE Close Function should be called when the sticky ad slot refreshes.
Close Function:
top.delete_udm_edge()The close function should be placed when Edge is no longer wanted to serve ads, which would likely be when the sticky ad slot refreshes.
The Edge Close Function just needs to make it the page and Edge will shutdown; the ad will close and refreshes will stop.
